Designer knock-offs: what is your opinion on the issue?

Personally, if I can’t afford the real thing, then I don’t buy it. I don’t knock anyone who does buy knock-offs…you get what you can afford if you really want it that bad.

I think the amount of money spent on designer clothing and accessories is completely ridiculous. I think that people buying cheap knock offs to look like people who spend ridiculous amounts of money on designer clothing are pretty ridiculous too.

i personally dont mind the knock off clothing, cuz truthfully everything even the supposed original designers knocked their pieces off another era/designer/house. i do not like the bags, nor could i ever walk down the st with a fake. i am proud to have my bag collection and work hard to afford it. the shoes are passable,except that horrible manono from a few yrs back tha steve madden and everyone else cloned,hated that!
